Essay: Hamlet

Thesis: in Laurence olivier's vision of Hamlet he portrayed hamlet as a young solem man who is seated and who avoids eye contact with claudius and while his relationship with his other is is sere and loving, his relationship with claudius is superficial. On the other hand, kennith Branagh portrays claudius as caring and concerned. This portrayal makes hamlet come off as disturbed and confused. In this version he dresses hamlet in all black and Claudius is dressed in red and white, making hamlet appear as the vilan and Claudius appear as the righteous king.
